After watching Montagu Pass Old Toll House, have a meal at Fishaways. It's a pleasant experience to try perfectly cooked fish & chips, hake and coleslaw. Food delivery is a big plus of this restaurant. Most guests point out that the staff is friendly. If you want to experience prompt service, you should go to Fishaways. Most visitors note that the dishes are offered for adequate prices. You will definitely appreciate the charming atmosphere. But google users haven't given this place a high rating.

I ordered takeaways on the MrD app. "Pick-up time" was given as 18h58. When I got here at 18h40, I waited in the car until 18h50 and then went in to collect the fish. The food was already waiting on the serving shelf and not hot anymore. It clearly stood ready for 10+ minutes. Please show the correct times on MrD, as I could have hot fish if I went into the shop when I arrived here. Also, the address Google Maps gives for Fishaways is wrong. I did let Google Maps know. Parking: At least 20 free parking spots right in front of the shop. Kid-friendliness: It is child-friendly. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 100–150 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

I am extremely disappointed. We bought a crunchy hake chips and onion rings special: there wasn't a full portion of fish, only a half portion. Next we bought a pop prawn hake calamari box, and paid R139, on the website it's advertised for R89. Maybe I would not have been so disappointed if I paid R89. Definitely not value for money.

One star, actually no. No stars, I ordered a salad from them last night and found blood in it when I wanted to eat it. Had I eaten it no questions asked, who knows how many diseases I would have gotten from that.
