Ordered food and took over an hour to arrive at our table.
3 meals were ok but chips also had lots of old burnt chips (black) on plates. Burger was well overcooked and dry - salad was 1 small piece of yellow lettuce and quarter of tomato. Ordinary fries - not skin on as per menu.
Scampi and chips - 8 pieces of scampi and very burnt curly fries - nothing else on the plate.
Fish and salad - fish not cooked - slimy and transparent - definitely not cooked. The salad was 1 whole lettuce leaf in a bowl couple of bits of tomato and no dressing.
Halumi flatbread had been microwaved and would not cut with a knife.
Was replaced but by the time it came I had to eat on my own as everyone else had finished. Female staff were great and apologised. Went to pay and manager said ‘I’ll tell the chef’ but no apology.
This was supposed to be a special evening with our daughter who was visiting from London.
Very disappointing and not up to their usual standard.
Can’t really recommend at present.
