The food is great! Fresh ingredients, great flavors, and checkers on the outdoor tables. The bacon bleu burger is excellent, as well as the house made rootbeer and Huckleberry shakes. Well worth the trip. A must visit for every trip to Yellowstone. Price per person: $100+ Recommended dishes: Huckleberry Shakes, Onion Rings, Fry Sauce, Rootbeer Float, Root Beer Float and a Huckleberry Shake

Absolutely adorable diner! After finishing an afternoon at Mesa Falls we topped it off with dinner and a shake. The "Drive-up" and dine experience was so charming. The service was immediate and helpful. Park, order from the car, then eat at your picnic table. We finished our meal inside the diner when the wind picked up a bit. Very child friendly, and offered our little baby some wafer cookies. Plus they had toys and all sorts of cute things to engage our son.:) Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you're looking for a place to grab a bite and enjoy some retro vibes, you should definitely check out Frostop Drive In in Ashton, Idaho. They have a great menu of burgers, fries, hot dogs, and other classic American fare, but the real star of the show is their milkshakes. They are thick, creamy, and come in a variety of flavors, from vanilla and chocolate to strawberry and banana. You can even mix and match your own combinations. My personal favorite is the raspberry cheesecake shake, which is heavenly. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is fast and efficient. You can either eat in your car or at one of the picnic tables outside. The atmosphere is cozy and nostalgic, with old-fashioned signs and music playing in the background. Frostop Drive In is a must-visit for anyone who loves good food and good times. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
