I got the (eggs anyway) dish which comes with 2 eggs any way you want hash browns and your choice of toast. Eggs were good came over medium as ordered. Hash browns were probably frozen ones cooked up so not the best. I got the rye toast. Was expecting 2 slices because that’s what normally comes everywhere else I’ve been but only came with 1 slice. The place looked clean. There was only one person waiting tables. She did a decent job. The hubs was out of coffee for a while before she made it back to refill it and we never got the hot sauce we asked for. All in all an ok place to eat. Would go back and try something else. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

We went to the Trails Inn Restaurant after camping for a couple of days. We went around lunchtime and got breakfast. The food is fairly inexpensive, so that’s a good thing. However, the food is also not particularly great, but it’s not also particularly bad. It’s just mediocre. If you’re looking for really good food there’s other places in Ashton to go. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

We ordered 3 steak and 1 order of finger steaks.
The finger steaks were over cooked, very crunchy and dry
1 steak was ordered as just seared on each side. They did not have a clue how to do that. The steak came medium well
Next 2 steaks were ordered as medium rare. They came out medium well done.
Salads came with the meals. We got 3 things of just lettuce. And then was stomach sick with the runs that night. When I called all I got was Sorry. I asked if they was going to do anything about it and we were told by a child on the phone No.
I heard good things before I went. But none of that came true
