Beyond disappointing experience at Latto Factory. As someone traveling back to Louisiana, I was looking forward to trying Latto Factory again (after prior experiences at their establishment) and spending time w/ family after months away. However, after the unwarranted disrespect an employee showed my mother I can not justify supporting a business or buying their products regardless of the quality. I believe anyone reading this should question where they spend their money based on how staff treat their customers. The disrespect towards my mother at their establishment occurred Sunday. While viewing their menu selection, my mother was trying their free samples and attempting to briefly converse w/ the employee with the shoulder length black hair. Seconds later, my mother accidentally spilled one of the free samples on the tray as another customer walked up to view the menu. Naturally, my mom tried to apologize to the employee. In response, he put his hand in her face and continued talking to the other customer. Although he was extremely rude and disrespectful, my mother still grabbed paper towels and tried to clean the tray. I know a new customer was approaching the register, but their is a right and wrong way to treat others. Much less, as an establishment built on clients paying for products employees should be more mindful of how they treat ALL customers. After seeing how the Indian employee with the shoulder length hair treated my mother, I decided not to buy their products and I advise anyone else who considers buying from them to reflect on whether they should support a business that’s disrespectful and dismissive towards customers.
