I ordered a set that included mitarashi dango with soy sauce and warabi mochi with matcha and roasted soybean powder on top. It came with two cups of hot green tea, which paired perfectly with the sweetness of the desserts. The matcha warabi mochi was absolutely delicious—the matcha flavour was rich and well-balanced. The green tea itself was also outstanding. If you’re a green tea lover, this is definitely worth trying.

On the way down from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, I stopped in on a whim because the matcha ice cream looked delicious. I sat on a bench inside and enjoyed it, which was sweet and delicious. The staff were friendly, and it was a great place to take a break and recharge during my trip. (Payment is cash only.)

I live in the Kanto region, but I came to Kyo Dango Fujinami for an event at a department store. I bought the hojicha dango because it looked delicious. Actually, it's not as if Japanese sweets are delicious in Kyoto. The dango from a Japanese confectionery shop in Kyoto that you often see at events in the Kanto region is tasteless. So, Kyo Dango Fujinami also bought it with some skepticism, wondering, "I wonder if it's okay?" However, when I tried it, it was really delicious! The chewy texture and sweetness are just right. The photo shows 4 pieces, but it was 600 yen for a set of 5 pieces. I would like to buy the dango here again. Food: 5
