We visited Fukatabe in in Dec 2025. The chef runs a farm so the vegetables were the chef's own produce which was very fresh and delicious. We had tempura assortment, crab porridge, hamachi hot pot. We really like the sweet potato, we begged the Chef to sell us a few potatoes! The chef preserved many plums in different flavors. We tried a yogurt with preserved plums as dessert, it was so yummy and refreshing. Thank you Chef Sumino, thanks for the good food and your hospitality.
