Incredible Kyoto-style lunch, the place was easy to find, the ambiance was lovely and the food was delicious. I got the sashimi meal, the fish was fresh and I think that was the best tuna I’ve ever tasted lol - my friend got a vegetarian tempura meal! Wasn’t on the menu but we just asked. The side dishes were very fun to taste at the beginning. Could not recommend more for an affordable set meal lunch in Kyoto. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very nice traditional Japanese restaurant hidden in Kyoto. We came here after seeing the high reviews, and Fukuyasu did not disappoint! If you are vegetarian, the staff are very kind and are able to provide a vegetarian meal. The service was very fast and the food was refreshing. We had some really unique small appetizers before our meal, and left very full!
