August 2026: We had a lovely late lunch at Garfish Manly after spending the day around Manly. The restaurant has a very pleasant and relaxed ambience, making it a great place to sit back and enjoy a leisurely meal. We started with the Ora King Salmon Sashimi, which was beautifully presented and tasted wonderfully fresh. The salmon was delicate and paired really well with the dressing and tobiko. For our mains, we had the Orange Roughy with potato mash and the Prawn & Blue Swimmer Crab Rigatoni. The orange roughy was nicely cooked, tender and flaky, and the creamy mash complemented the fish very well. The rigatoni was another highlight — generous pieces of seafood with cherry tomato, basil, chilli vodka sauce and parmesan. Rich and flavourful without being too heavy. We finished with the Garfish Tiramisu, a lovely way to end the meal. Creamy, indulgent and not overly sweet. Overall, we really enjoyed the fresh seafood, beautiful presentation and relaxed atmosphere. A very enjoyable late lunch in Manly and definite a place to dine in when you are at Manly. Yes, yes yes, a thousand times YES! Rarely have we been to place where we ordered 6 different things from the menu and said of each and every one, "I'd go back there just for that." On top of that the staff were just terrific. Couldn't have been more friendly, attentive and helpful. Thanks to all for a wonderful experience. The food is fabulous, and the staff are superb. Most have been there for a very long time so can only presume they are well looked after by management. They really work as a well oiled machine. Very efficient and always with a cheery and engaging attitude. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $140–160
