Overall Score: 5.8/10 This spot was interesting, but it never really felt like it had a strong identity as a ramen restaurant. There were small touches of Japanese and ramen-themed decor, but the open layout and TVs gave it more of a casual bar vibe than a cozy ramen shop. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and service was good. The menu was also a little disappointing, with only a single page of non-ramen options. Ramen 5.9/10. It was good, mostly because it’s ramen. The noodles were cooked well, and the broth had good flavor. I ordered a basic bowl, so there wasn’t much that stood out, but there also wasn’t much to complain about. Gyoza 5.7/10. Very average and nothing memorable. It tasted like a standard frozen gyoza that could easily be made at home. Stopped by Gen Ramen and it did not disappoint! The ramen was super flavorful and the portions were great. The broth tasted fresh and the noodles had the perfect texture. Our server Alex & the staff were friendly and helpful and the vibe outside was relaxed and welcoming. Sweet tea was fresh and very delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back!
