No commentary on anything else other than the black coffee. Ordered a large for five dollars and it was only like a 12 ounce pour kind of disappointing.

Ghost Note Coffee denies bathroom access to anyone who has not made a purchase. This business sits steps from Cal Anderson Park, operating daily in direct proximity to unhoused neighbors, people with disabilities, transgender community members, people in mental health crisis, and people surviving on the margins of this city. This is not a neutral operational policy. It is a decision to exclude the most vulnerable people in the surrounding community from basic human dignity. People with Crohn's disease, diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, kidney conditions, and pregnancy do not have the luxury of a purchase requirement before their body demands bathroom access. Blanket denial without accommodation consideration creates genuine ADA exposure under Title III. Washington State Human Rights Commission protections under RCW 49.60 apply when policies disproportionately affect protected classes including disability status. Seattle Public Health has identified bathroom access as a critical public health priority for unhoused people. When businesses in high need neighborhoods deny that access they push the human cost of their property protection policy onto the bodies of vulnerable people and onto the public systems responding to the consequences. I am indigenous. I am transgender. I spend my days at Cal Anderson supporting unhoused neighbors by name. I have watched people in medical distress be turned away from this bathroom. I have watched the humiliation that follows. It is not a policy detail. It is a human being told their body does not matter here. The coffee is good. The space is beautiful. The staff are kind. None of that changes what this policy communicates to the most vulnerable people in this neighborhood every day. A compassionate bathroom access policy would cost this business almost nothing and would produce alignment between the progressive identity it presents and the actual lived experience of the community surrounding it. The door should be open. Open it. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
