A pleasant discovery today for lunch, even though we showed up at 4pm and the very kind staff welcomed us and seated us. The small restaurant with a beautiful outdoor garden is located along the Regina Viarum between the Villa of Maxentius and the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella and for this reason alone it is worth a stop for a coffee and a home-made cake. We ate excellent polenta and top grilled meat, dishes accompanied by a good red wine and desserts could not be missing. Highly recommended.
