Italian cuisine is served at this restaurant. Come to Giulia for a break and degust mouthwatering pappardelle, grilled octopus and ricotta. You will like its food, especially tasty gelato, olive cakes and affogato. It's time to degustate delicious Sauvignon blanc, draft beer or bitter. Try the great chocolate frappe, iced espresso or cappuccino offered here.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant in the whole Boston area. I have friends who live in North End who come all the way to dine at this place regularly. As a frequent visitor I enjoy the seasonality of their menu and daily specials. I would generally order an appetizer, a pasta and a dessert and skip the entree, as this would be of great portion. The pasta is their forte and their wild boar pappardelle delivers outstanding flavor and texture consistently. Hazelnut ice cream affogato is another favorite.
One of my favorites in the area. Always excellent food and service.
Giulia was a first time disappointment with a northern Italian and Minnesota local food enthusiasts party of 4. We plan on visiting a second time to try a few more items. Two critical feedback is to remove "northern Italian fare" and please correct the spelling of menu items. Cacio e pepe, not cacao. Cacao is chocolate. There are about six mistakes in the menu. The types of dishes being offered are not northern italian. We found the foccacio mush. Cacio e pepe, the pasta was not separated while boiling, so they became over cooked. Mozzarella was prepared at table, very nice, turned out salty on crust, after 10 minutes. Agnolotti was prepared very nicely. The dessert option requires consideration to not add so many ingredients for presentation, like inedible flowers. The waitress can smoke, but would suggest a little perfume, the smoke is overwhelming when freshly returning from break twice. These are all items that can be addressed. For the price, in Minneapolis, you are competing with the likes of 112, broders. Overall we plan to return, with a northern Italian and local community. We hope the owners will take this feedback. We also keep the option that maybe a Sunday night was too slow, so we will try it on a Friday next time.
