Golden Coffee is a great restaurant located in the heart of Riga Old Town. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with friendly staff and a wide range of Latvian dishes on the menu. Unfortunately, some customers have experienced long waiting times and cold food, as well as finding a hair in their pizza slice. However, many people have enjoyed their meals and praised the attentive service. The drinks are also highly recommended, particularly their signature cappuccino with added caramel syrup. We waited a long time and got the wrong order. While we were waiting, the table across the aisle got nearly melted ice cream desserts - 2 out of 3 were correct. We waited further and got coffee that was nearly cold - lukewarm at best -- and tasted like it was right out of the package. We drank it because we were thirsty but ... As we were leaving the (wrong) order reached the table next to us. Nice atmosphere, though. I then went back to the hotel room. It made myself hot cup of instant coffee. Price per person: €5–10
