Went there last night with my wife, we had been there before with our friends for a birthday dinner and I remembered it being good.Not anymore. The place was completely empty and uncomfortably silent, with nothing other than the beep of the microwave they used to heat up almost all our food. The microwaved Saki tasted old and oily, the eggrolls and the sticky buns, tasted like they had been frozen for a very long time. You know it's bad when they remember to bring out a dish you ordered while hoping it had been forgotten. As the single waitress moved around with the single cook in the back, all I could think was that if they had a rush they would be crushed by the pressure. The place could sit around 50 people, and I don't now if 50 different people had been in there within the last month.The biggest problem was the price, $13 for deep fried tofu covered in syrup and seasame seeds, $11 for a depresingly small portion of snow peas, along with all of the other menu items. I wish Gordon Ramsey would come and turn this place around or that they would move into a different shop because they seem as though they only make money from take-out.Come here if you want to longingly stare out onto the street, eating your microwaved food, and wonder why you didn't go somewhere else.

The vegetables with rice and garlic sauce were steaming hot, well-presented, and SAVORY. WELL worth the price!The dining room was well-organized, well-designed, clean and attractive. The woman working the front greeted me immediately, despite the fact that she clearly did not really have time to do that, as she was serving two other customers at top speed. Although English was clearly not her first language, she made progress, instead of excuses. She repeated my order, to make sure that she got it right, and quickly changed my drink when she mistakenly brought me the wrong one. What was most impressive is that this woman was working the entire dining room by herself--both dine-in and pick-up orders--and yet, she still took time to make sure that everybody's food was satisfactory.The cook emerged from the kitchen to talk to the woman about something as I was signing the bill. I wanted to tell them both what a great time I had, and that I would be back, the next time I was in Rochester--but they were both too fast for me, and I could neither catch him before he ran back to cook another meal, nor could I catch her as she ran to serve yet another customer. Hopefully, they see this review, and realize how appreciated they are.I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!
