Absolutely TERRIBLE experience!!! What an incredibly frustrating and disappointing way to spend my birthday. I came all the way from Singapore to Penang, and this was my first time visiting Good Friends Club. I came here expecting to chill, have some drinks and enjoy the evening. Instead, I was left sitting there feeling completely ignored. We placed our order and waited. 30+ MINUTES. Nothing came. The worst part? While we were sitting there waiting like idiots, I could see people who arrived AFTER us already receiving their drinks. At first, I thought the place was simply busy, so I patiently waited. But after more than 30 minutes, I finally went to check with the staff. And guess what? OUR ORDER WAS NEVER EVEN KEYED IN. Seriously? How does an establishment manage to completely forget an entire customer's order and not realize it for over 30 minutes? The order was taken by an Indian male staff member with a piercing on his mouth. Whether it was his mistake or a communication issue, the fact remains that nobody bothered to check, nobody noticed, and nobody came to tell us there was a problem. We only found out because WE had to go and ask. This isn't just "a little delay." We wasted more than 30 minutes of our time for absolutely nothing. What makes this even more ridiculous is that it was MY BIRTHDAY. I travelled from Singapore to Penang and chose to spend part of my birthday here, only to be treated to this kind of service. If you can't even get a basic drink order into the system, what exactly are customers supposed to expect? Extremely poor service, zero attention to customers, and a completely disappointing first impression. First visit and definitely my LAST visit. There are plenty of other places in Penang where customers' time and money are actually respected. Good Friends Club? Definitely not a good experience.
