Came in on a Sunday night. Although we've lived in Raleigh over 12 years, we had never tried Gravy and heard good things. Ordered the blackberry old fashioned and a gin/tonic, risotto balls, calamari, garlic lemon chicken, and tagliatelle bolognese. The old fashioned cocktail had too much simple syrup and hardlyanyberry flavor (ratio was off). The risotto balls were okay and the calamari was definitely over cooked. The tagliatelle bolognese was off, something smelled odd... and the meat was definitely last night's meatballs. The ricotta ball on the top was still frozen. My lemon chicken spaghetti was okay but there was hardly any sauce so the pasta was super plain and the chicken was super thin. There was Kraft parmesan on my spaghetti dish with none on the bolognese. No additional cheese was offered. Ultimately spent $140 at Gravy to know that we won't be back. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're truly sorry that your first visit to Gravy fell so far short of your expectations. Reading your review is disappointing because the food and service you described are not reflective of the experience we work hard to provide every day.Your comments about the cocktail, calamari, Bolognese, frozen ricotta, and lemon garlic chicken pasta have been shared directly with our culinary and bar teams so they can address these issues immediately. We never want a guest to question the quality of the food they're served, and we sincerely apologize that we let you down.We understand why you feel reluctant to return, especially after spending $140 on a meal that wasn't enjoyable. While we can't change your experience, we would truly appreciate the opportunity to make it right. If you're willing, please reach out to us directly and ask for Melissa. We'd love the chance to personally welcome you back, ensure every dish is prepared to our standards, and show you the level of hospitality and quality that so many of our guests have come to expect from Gravy.Thank you again for your honest feedback. We hope you'll consider giving us one more opportunity to earn back your trust.

We had a wonderful experience for my husband’s birthday dinner. Every dish was delicious, fresh and full of flavor. We had Risotto Balls and Traditional Bruschetta for appetizers. Our entrees were Beef Tagliata, Chicken Parmagiana, and a Meatball Grinder. The service was exceptional. Our server was Trevor. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. The manager even took the time to check on our son’s order to make sure it was exactly what he wanted which was so thoughtful. Everyone who worked there was incredibly nice. The atmosphere was great especially with the World Cup watch party happening in the courtyard. Great vibe all around! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
