Waiter was good friendly atmosphere was laid back chill. A friend of mine’s recommended this restaurant to me. Trash!!! The food was nasty wing dry, sides like warm, fake mac & cheese gator bites was weak, my wife’s drink (alcoholic) was watered down, and wait the crab cakes TERRIBLE I never had a bad crab cake until today it tasted crazy!!! Some extra ingredients I wasn’t expecting never coming back here needless to say waste of $100 and my time the food took forever to come out just to not even be hot smh Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

So we really wanted to enjoy this place and when we initially got there everything was great. The place was packed and there’s no real seating protocol but the host was able to get us situated. They were having live karaoke and it seemed like a chill spot. Service was so slow, our server kept disappearing. Once the food came out, everything was great besides the catfish platter. The catfish was soggy, the fried Spinach was mid and the sweet potato fries had sugar on them which wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Our server was not anywhere to be found so we ate all the rest of the food and finally when she came back we were ready for the check and asked for the meal to be taken off since we didn’t enjoy it. I’m in the restaurant industry too and it’s not uncommon for meals to be taken off of the guest is dissatisfied. Well apparently here it is. The manager came over to us and was SO. CONDESCENDING. Spoke down to us and tried to tell me I ate half of the catfish when I had just taken a bite. He kept cutting us off and honestly we think he had been drinking cause we couldn’t believe he was talking to us like that. Finally got the bill, only $8 taken off for this $17 entree. Which I should add I was charged extra to switch out the sides which is fine but the server didn’t mention that. Usually they say something like “Yes we can do that but there’s a fee” nope nothing. Then the manager stood by the front door and stared at us while we walked out. Ruined the whole experience. If it wasn’t for the customer service, this would’ve been a better experience. Save yourselves a trip unless you’re just getting a drink. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
