All food items that we ordered were nice and fresh. The place was also decent clean as compared to other eateries we went in Melaka. Waiting time for food after order was a bit but the staff was very courteous. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: RM 1–20

Lunch at Greenbite Cafe, Melaka – A Vegetarian Treat! Dropped by Greenbite Cafe in Melaka for lunch two days ago. This is a vegetarian café with a cozy, modern feel—perfect for a relaxing meal. Fun fact: the chef here was formerly from a well-known Teochew restaurant near Jonker Street. If you’re from around here, you probably know which one I mean! We were a group of four and ordered quite a spread—probably more than enough, but worth it. What We Had: 1. Vegetarian Fried Oysters – Crispy on the outside, with that sea-like taste you'd expect. Surprisingly close to the real deal. 2. Buttermilk Fresh Mushrooms – Rich, creamy, and full of flavour. A hit at the table. 3. Cantonese-style Hor Fun – This came with strong wok hei; you could smell it the moment it hit the table. 4. Vegetarian Bak Kut Teh – Herbal, deep, and comforting. 5. ...and three more dishes I honestly can't recall (brain fog from good food?). 6. They also serve a vegetarian lamb stew, which caught our attention. The Experience: Coffee: Surprisingly good! Smooth and satisfying—definitely worth a try if you're a coffee lover. Ambience: Calm, clean, and well-lit—great for a chill lunch. Portion Size: Just right—not too much or too little, unless you’re a big eater. Ingredients: Didn’t notice any dishes with gluten flour, which is great for those avoiding it. Overall Rating: (5/5) Whether you're a vegetarian or not, this place is absolutely worth checking out. Even meat-lovers will find something satisfying here. No ties to the owner—just a happy customer sharing a great find. --- Want me to help turn this into a Google review or social media post format with hashtags and all?
