Found this place on google, pictures looked amazing. Stopped at bar right next to it called putneys a little apprehensive but was pleasantly surprised, way too dead for the deliciousness that ensued. Bartender Kim ber ley was great and recommended good dishes (I went my own way but became it was close to close and didn't wanna upset the vibe), ordered mussels, scampi (scampi came shells peeled to the very tip which isn't usual), side of red sauce and am completely blown away. Then one of the waiter Liliana came over and totally decided my confidence in my order. Simply amazing and was actually told at putneys that Guiseppe's was crazy delicious by a local sitting next to me. Definitely recommend

Great food, really poor service.

My wife and I had a dinner reservation and arrived with 6-8 tables with patrons.

We had to get the host's attention before being seated. It took about 15-20 minutes before getting any service. We placed our order and got our drinks shortly afterwards.

We must've arrived prior to a shift change as there's more staff as well as other patrons. We got our food after other patrons arrived after us and placed their orders afterwards.

After enjoying our dinner, it took quite awhile to request to go boxes as well our boxes.

If I could give zero stars I would. First off I live in Catalina, a solid 30 min drive. I wanted a cheat meal and wanted the Rigatoni Bolognese. It was really good the first time I had it. I called in a pick up order and specifically said NO CHEESE, severe dairy allergy. He said he would notate it, evidently he didn't because when I got home, found cheese all over my Rigatoni Bolognese. There is obviously absolutely no communication between FOH and BOH, if you have food allergies, avoid this place because the obviously don't care about if their customers survive eating their food... and to top it all off I placed the order with the manager, I was too upset to get his name when I called back... who ever manages the yelp page... your restaurant is giving the vibe they do not care when you tell them you have an allergy. And this isn't a "sensitivity", I am anaphylactic allergic to milk products so had I eaten this I would have gone to the ER... looks like They don't
