The food here was absolutely amazing! The portion sizes were amazing for the cost of the food you get. Everything was seasoned amazingly as well. Overall great experience. There was quite a few items on the menu they didn’t have anymore so that was a bummer, but still amazing. Plus everything was Halal which is amazing! I ordered through Uber Eats because the restaurant was advertising a Buy One Get One Free promotion. When the order arrived, key items were missing, including the beef dish and Schezwan rice that we paid for and were expecting as part of our family dinner. I called the restaurant, and the woman I spoke to first told me she needed to talk to her manager, who wouldn't be in until the following week. When I pointed out how ridiculous that was since we were trying to eat dinner that night, she then said she would prepare the missing food for us and told us to come pick it up. Even though we paid for delivery, we went out of our way to drive to the restaurant. When we got there, the food wasn't ready, and she basically acted like she had no idea what we were talking about. After I showed her proof of our order, she said she didn't know why it said that and that it was an Uber Eats issue. I told her that's not my problem, we paid for the food and expected to receive it. Her response was that there was nothing they could do. We were then put on the phone with the owner, and the story kept changing. First, he said he didn't know why Uber Eats was showing the promotion and that all he could offer was a mango lassi. The funny part is that the app actually listed a lemon masala soda, not a mango lassi. We told him we didn't want a drink, we wanted the food we paid for. He then offered two appetizers instead. A few minutes later, after the employee took the phone away to discuss a solution, she came back offering the mango lassi again. When I asked about the appetizer offer, she claimed she didn't know what I was talking about and put the owner back on the phone. Suddenly, he also claimed he didn't know what I was talking about and said they couldn't do that. The entire experience was full of excuses, contradictions, and people changing their story every few minutes. We spent over $80 there earlier in the week and over $100 on this order, yet management was willing to lose a customer over roughly $20 worth of missing food. I've worked in customer service before, and customer retention is everything. Whether the mistake was theirs, Uber's, or somewhere in between, a good business finds a way to make things right. Instead, we were met with excuses, inconsistency, and unprofessional behavior. I won't be returning, and based on this experience, I can't recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food and great service at Hakka Nation! The Manchurian chow mein was full of flavor, dumplings were perfectly crispy with hot garlic sauce, and the pistachio crepe was the perfect sweet ending. Definitely one of the best spots in Hamilton!
