After a walk around First Baptist Church - Cary NC, many visitors stop by this bar. Spend a nice time here and share nicely cooked prawns, shrimp tacos and mushrooms with your friends. The unique characteristic of Hank's Downtown Dive is serving good ice cream.
The wine list is extensive, it can satisfy the needs of all guests. You will like average prices. At this place, visitors can enjoy the pretty atmosphere and lovely decor. This spot is ranked 4.6 within the Google grading system.

Good food with a limited menu. Close parking is hard to find on the weekend and the atmosphere was average. The service was excellent. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

The best gluten-free fried chicken (bone-in) platter I have ever tasted thus far. Also, with generous portions that 2 people can share. Hank's Downtown Dive is what I'd consider an upscaled dive that has a welcoming, cool, and cozy vibe that is pleasantly relaxed. The menu is not the typical dive offerings. Their definite personal touch with great flavor is very evident. Of course, they have a bar, which I haven't tried as yet, but I noticed that other patrons seated at the bar were enjoying their libations and their friendly interactions with the attentive bartender. Even their non-alcoholic Pink Lemonade was a perfect balance of tart & sweet during my visit, which, to me, further highlights their attentiveness to quality and taste down to the simplest detail. Another very important feature is that Hank's Downtown Dive's menu is wonderfully GLUTEN FREE friendly! For those like me who medically must eat GF, quality places like Hank's are invaluable. Hats off to our server, she was knowledgeable, attentive, and a joy. A special thanks to the host because we artived as soon as Hank's opened for the day's business (without a reservation) and he showed willingness to accommodate us with a table. July 7, 2024, was my spouse and my first visit, and we will be back. Peace to you. Reservations are suggested. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
