This review is for the restaurant if anyone wondered about the food. We had a wonderful lunch here on a sunny Saturday. We didn't have a reservation, we just popped in around lunch time and they had a couple of free tables still. The service was nice, the seating area spacious, tables not crowded, not noisy at all. Many food options on the menu, we struggled to choose, but happy with our choices. Also loved to see fresh flowers everywhere I would 100% recommend.

Very average food place to be honest, light breakfast (tiny portion) was almost £14 without a drink, kids portion of pancakes also almost £14, ok I will understand if this will be something really amazing… but most of the „builders” coffees can do that for an £7.50

We stayed in the accommodation for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Every single member of staff, without exception, was cheerful, welcoming and helpful. On arrival we were treated to complimentary homemade cake and tea or coffee. Our en suite room was spotlessly clean and warm, with a huge and very comfortable bed. The breakfast menu was delicious and has a wide choice of traditional and not so traditional fare on offer. Everything we tried was delicious and made to order. Enjoying breakfast in the light and airy restaurant, overlooking the river Rother is a memory we will treasure. I highly recommend Haydens as a 5 star bed and breakfast. I also recommend it if you're looking for somewhere have brunch, coffee, lunch or cake. Thank you for making our stay in Rye so enjoyable. Service: 5
