Hi-res is an expensive and good restaurant with a fantastic view of beautiful Rome. For some items you feel like you are paying extra (8€ for a 200 ml cocacola is a lot) but I was expecting this pricing before I went in. The dishes were different in taste. The fish and the parmigiana were really tasty and totally worth it. The fiorentina steak was 1 kilo of meat and was enough for two people but I didn’t like its’ side dishes. The staff were very good and friendly specially the Tunisian guy called Sam’a I think. The only negative comment is that there was a photo shooting for their social media the day we visited and the photographer was taking pictures of the customers without asking. Dear Behnam, thank you for sharing your experience and for the kind words reserved for the kitchen, location and our staff. We would like to clarify that the current shoot during your visit was exclusively dedicated to the dishes, cocktails and restaurant spaces. There were no plans to photograph customers, and if it had been necessary, we would of course have requested permission. We hope to welcome you back soon.Sincerely,Guest relations Hi-Res

What started out as a beautiful evening turned into an experience that I, nor my guests, will soon forget.

I was VERY clear in my initial emails that this dinner was a CELEBRATION. When working out the logistics of the gathering, I mentioned that we would be celebrating a major accomplishment for my husband with 20 family and friends. I felt like this was understood by your establishment, so imagine the shock I, and others in my party, felt when we were yelled at by a patron sitting behind us during the toasting segment of our dinner. To add insult to injury at that time Daniel, old me that we needed to quiet down. He did not go to the other patron and give her the same "talk" even though she continued to berate and yell towards us! With that being said, we were no louder than any of the other patrons.

Considering we spent close to $5,000.00 in your restaurant at some point, we should have been extended some grace and courtesies as I'm sure our ticket was the largest of the night.

You failed us in the areas of service and professionalism and we are highly disappointed in what we experienced to say the least.
