When I first visited the restaurant I was disappointed to learn that laptops are prohibited, which was challenging given that I was traveling on my own for work on an extended stay. I shared feedback with the restaurant and they took it into consideration and updated their policy. This is one of several moments during my stay where management asked for my feedback, truly cared about my experience, and acted quickly (when feasibly) to enhance it. Really appreciated it! An absolute gem of a cocktail bar. The decor and atmosphere strike the perfect balance between an intimate speakeasy and a vibrant vinyl lounge, complete with cozy seating and incredible sound curation that sets a fantastic, relaxed vibe. The service is highly professional, attentive, and welcoming from the moment you step in. Looking through the menu, they offer an impressive selection of curated drinks, but the highlight of my night was their mixology skills: the bartenders kindly custom-made a Last Word cocktail for me. It was flawlessly executed with absolute precision, showcasing their exceptional craft. Definitely recommended . There's this lady with hand tattoos at this place... She made me feel like my money is not the same money that everyone else is spending at this place. Context: 30.01.26 Came around 710pm, asked this lady if there's a table for 1, she said "NO", I asked if I can just say hi to the DJ she said yes, walking in I saw there's few spaces including the bar space. I went to her manager and asked to be at the bar, he agreed at the same time she let 3 men who were behind me that didn't have a reservation as well. Alright, I sat at the bar then second drink in she asked me to move for 2 people, she placed one person and left the other seat open - left me confused as to WHY CAUSE I'M A PAYING CUSTOMER. I am so disappointed since I'm one their frequent customer, I love their signature cocktails - punk punch and Gabriel's Cloud (top teir). I just don't get it, it's people like her that makes the whole listening experience at the Hidden Grooves awful. Anyway, thank you for listening to my rant till this far.
