A small, cozy restaurant where the owner single-handedly prepares every dish. There are six seats at the counter and two private rooms in the back. The menu focuses on fish and small plates that go well with sake. The restaurant offers a fine selection of sake from Okayama, many of them brewed with Omachi, the region’s renowned sake rice. It’s a great place to compare different Omachi sakes side by side. Tonight, I had the Sanzen Junmai and the Kibi no Ginpu Junmai Ginjo.
