I’m torn with this place. The sushi was exceptional and the sake pairing was delightful. However it’s overpriced. $670 per couple! Unlikely we’d visit again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

A very personal and inviting experience where the chef does a great job of explaining the foods, the origins and the intent behind the menu. Definitely a good experience and I highly recommend the sake pairing as well. First, you absolutely must have a reservation for the omakase experience on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. The dishes are prepared in front if you and presented in a carefully curated order with each course described. All the fishnis top quality, fresh, and perfectly prepared and presented. The pacing is relaxed. The chefs are personable and love what they are doing. The evening was handsdown the best sushi experience I have had in Reno. Excellent fish, perfectly prepared. No added fluff needed to hide inferior quality because everything was excellent and flavors were well balanced from start to finish. Will visit again and will try their more casual weekday dining and their neighboring poke bowl takeout. Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Miso Soup
