We ordered takeout — a house soup and two lunch combos — but when we got home, we realized we were given hot & sour soup instead of the house soup we clearly ordered. Mistakes happen, no big deal. I called expecting a simple correction, but instead was met with an argumentative attitude. The staff member insisted we should know the difference between the soupswhich is exactly why we know we never ordered hot & sour soup in the first place. Rather than apologizing or resolving the issue professionally, we were told we’d have to drive back with the incorrect soup for an exchange — and that we would be charged extra. The lack of customer service was disappointing enough, but asking customers to bring back opened food also felt very off-putting. The food quality itself was also concerning. We ordered spicy beef with fried rice and shrimp with fried rice, but the dishes arrived covered in a thick jelly-like sauce. The beef looked unusually pale and had an unpleasant texture and appearance. COLD in temperature at the bottom. Unfortunately, I was too grossed out to eat it and ended up throwing it away. Inside while waiting was also dirty, chairs and tables were greasy, with crumbs and trash. One more thing to note: double check your bill or ask for an itemized receipt. We were only given a small slip showing the total amount, with no breakdown of charges. Very disappointing experience overall — not because of a simple order mistake, but because of how it was handled. Providing my review and hope the feedback will help staff so others who visit the store have a way better experience in the future, than we did! I have been eating here for the last maybe 15 years. This is my go-to place, my daughter would call me and ask me to bring in food when I leave work in Cary and drive home to Youngsville, NC(Franklin Co.). When I get home, the food is still nice and hot. It's so good, that when I wanted Hong Kong, I would drive from home, BACK to Cary to get it. Either way, it's worth it. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50
