we weren’t sure at first because the waiter was like “the menu prices are actually higher than listed” We stayed despite my suspicion, and OMG incredible Eritrean food, music, injera, eating with your hands — unreal experience. definitely more pricey but IMO, worth it! music was loud and rad, we loved it! Service was great. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I'm glad I decided to try something new and different. Food was delicious! Being new to eating with my hands and using the spongy bread as a utensil was a challenge. Overall I would suggest it, and just say you can likely ask for utensils. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: We got the dish with several vegetarian options and it was awesome.

Here’s a nice review you can post: Horeb Restaurant in Calgary is an amazing place for delicious Habesha food! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and truly tastes like home. The injera and dishes are perfectly prepared and very satisfying. Their coffee is also excellent — rich, aromatic, and authentic. You can really enjoy the traditional Ethiopian/Eritrean coffee experience here. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is friendly. I highly recommend Horeb Restaurant to anyone looking for tasty Habesha food in Calgary! ️ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
