Wonderful staff and delicious Roman cuisine at the heart of Rome. The ambience is great and welcoming, set at a building that’s over 2000 years old. We walked in and they were slicing prosciutto by hand and the rest was amazing. Had a great bottle of wine, wonderful pastas and the veal. The waiter was nice enough to offer us cookies and limoncello for dessert. A great spot with classic Roman cuisine! We’ve been traveling across Europe for three weeks now, and this was easily one of the most phenomenal, authentic meals we’ve had. Hostaria Costanza is a true hidden gem—not a tourist trap in sight, just incredible, traditional Italian food and a fantastic wine selection. The service was amazing, and the atmosphere in the historic, vaulted dining room feels so intimate and special. If you want a genuine Roman dining experience, this is the place.
