We had a beautiful experience at hostaria del roody. A few other restaurants asked of us to order starters, Primero and secundo, but we had a big lunch, but we didn’t feel like it and here we got welcomed with open arms and beautiful service and benefited with delicious food. Fabulous Roman restaurant experience. Our food was fantastic. Our server Luca made our evening very special with his friendliness and knowledge about the food he was serving. We would happily return here and recommend. We only came in out of rain and decided to stay. So glad we did. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The location is at a quieter part of Trastevere which we enjoyed. The staff was very friendly, pastas were perfect and deliciousbut we had such a laughable crash for one of our segundos. It was Easter and I was really wanting the roast lamb (I didn’t see the photos from here before dining but the roasted option do look great.) As I ordered it, the server insisted the breaded lamb chops were much better. I trusted his judgment and changed it. I noticed a plate of three breaded lamb chops being whisked away from another table and I started to worry if we made the wrong choice. Guys, the photo attached is what we got. Two overcooked lamb chops — even less than what the other table had for 24 euros. We had such a wonderful day and it was our last night in RomeI didn’t feel like making a fuss but the more I think of it, I felt like I should warn others. Everything else was great, but this dish bombed so bad and the fact it was recommendedwe had questions. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
