I've been to this restaurant many times for their Chinese food, it has always been good. But last night was different.. we ordered 2 shrimp egg rolls they had one shrimp in them.. fried rice.. the rice was old and some parts crunchy and the sesame chicken was okay but did not taste as good as usual. We were looking forward to a good meal and sadly did not receive that. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: $10–20

I have never felt more disrespected in my life than when I arrived at Yummy Garden Hot Pot. My family and I stood in line for 30 minutes with servers and hostess walking pass us saying nothing. We figured it was just busy so we had to wait. After 20 minutes my husband asked was a table available for us and we were told no. A white couple walked in and stood behind us in line. Instantly they were asked if they were dining in for hot pot. I said excuse me Ms. we were here first and was given a dirty look. The couple also stated that we were there first and should be seated first. Another hostess came by and did the exact same thing asking the white couple if they were dining in. I tried to keep my composure but I began to feel frustrated. Once seated we were told multiple times about the automatic 15% charge for gratuity so I was forced to constantly repeat myself saying that it was fine. The menu has changed since our last visit so it was taking us longer than the 30 seconds they provided to decide on our pots. We were given a hard time because we did not want to order a hot pot for our son but a rice bowl. Overall I'm sad to say this was a terrible experience. No one even cane back to check on us after we received our pots and we all needed more beverages. Also they forgot to give me the shrimp I requested.
