Holy moly! Who knew the best pizza I'd ever find would be in Hannover? I had dinner twice at H'ugo's and have to say that both times our meals were outstanding! The service was a bit spotty both nights but I think it was due to the busy-ness of the restaurant. We tried plates full of appetizers, shrimp scampi that was fantastic, meat platters and dessert platters. Everything was extremely fresh and flavorful. They also had a great cocktail menu and the bartender made a mean Aperol Spritz. I also loved the outdoor courtyard with covered ceiling so we could enjoy being outdoors but not freezing. They also had blankets available for us to cozy up with. And the outdoor lighting was great and made for an intimate dinner.

Fell in love at first sight! Today is the usual cold and rainy Hannover but inside Hugo's it's just full of light and freshness. The food was not overly spectacular but I don't even mind. I would go back even just for cocktails. I can imagine going here for a girls' lunch, a date, a business meeting, really, any occasion! (Ok, i'm obsessing probably a little too much. Just go!)

Heute Abend mit einer Freundin auf eine Pizza und ein paar Cocktails im H'ugo's. Atmosphäre sehr schön - Innenhof mit Brunnen und Loungebestuhlung - Pizza gut und cross - Cocktails gut, vielleicht etwas wässrig - Service kompetent und aufmerksam. Kann man wieder machen!
