Came across this restaurant on the Michelin guide. I don’t think it should still be on it. As other reviewers have noted the service is quote cold and the food is completely average. The salad we got was like a canteen salad and the pastas were fine. The tables outside under the mock orange trees are charming. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner

I went to I Banchi at Palermo Airport and I have never witnessed such a disrespectful and rude behaviour like I did there. It's an international airport, no one was even trying to communicate with us in English although was pretty clear we don't speak Italian. It wouldn't be a problem, but there are two different areas: one for the restaurant and few high tables for the patisserie, of course, no one explained to us. Since my elderly mother-in-law was with us, we decided to go to I Banchi over the other place due to the seating option but we didn't have time to have a proper meal, so we got some sandwiches from I Banchi and tried to go back to our table. It's unbelievable how they treated us, worse than if we had bought food from another place and were trying to seat there. Didn't explain anything, literally shooed us out. I was shocked, so rude, so disrespectful. If you have staff who treat your customers like this, the food simply doesn't make any difference. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Lunch
