I recently visited Inka Chicken in Rome, hoping for a solid taste of Peruvian cuisine. While the food itself wasn’t quite what I expected, it was decent enough considering the price point. Peruvian food is notoriously complex to get right, so I wasn’t expecting perfection—but the flavors were passable, if a bit underwhelming. The real issue, though, was the service. From the moment we walked in, the staff came off as disinterested and, frankly, rude. There was no warm welcome or even basic courtesy. It felt like we were bothering them just by being there. That kind of attitude really sets a tone for the rest of the meal, and not in a good way. While the food has potential and the pricing is fair, the overall experience is hard to recommend due to the poor customer service.
