My husband and I always ate at J Alexander's for special occasions. His favorite part of the meal was the Alex Salad Chopped. He passed away in June. In memory of his love for J Alexander's my children took me there for what would have been our 64th wedding anniversary. The food was fabulous. Only disappointment was the Alex Salad. We asked for it to be chopped, as was always his request. For the first time ever all of our salads were not thoroughly chopped and rather loosely thrown together. Only one crouton thrown on mine. . Not a big deal for most since we had knives. Just wondering if this "service" is no longer honored. Didn't say anything because it would have taken away from the event.
