Our Lady of Pompeii can be on your route by default, the clients' recommendation is to visit this bar. Mediterranean cuisine is well-cooked at Jack's Wife Freda. Most guests recommend trying perfectly cooked prosciutto, peri peri chicken and duck eggs. Invite your colleagues with you and enjoy good egg waffles, pudding and malva pudding. Giving 3.5 stars. The location and space was very cute - Good lighting, comfortable seating, coat rack, decorations, and good Jack's Wife Freda branding. The food was tasty, portions are on the smaller side. I got the Madame Freda. Tasted great - the cheese and duck prosciutto were flavorful and gave this dish a fun twist! Salad was just arugula and pickled onions, which was tasty but plain. Service was overall great. One of the waiters, who wasn't even assigned to our table, brought over some sauces that he recommended when he saw the dishes we got, and checked back in about how we liked it. Waitstaff was attentive- Clearing away dishes quick, and our water/coffee was seldom empty. We did have a reservation and reservation confirmation, but the restaurant did not have record of it, which was a bummer. We were luckily able to get seated anyways since we had an early time. However, we weren't even there an hour before we were told that they needed the table for a reservation, and asked if they could make our coffee's too go. Empathize with the restaurant being busy, but was a bummer we couldn't stay longer! Note that still, the waitstaff is great! Not a go-to spot for me, but was nice to try!
