Food looked good but fair only, so 3.5 stars. The place is def a locals spot, only a few tables under some fans and large TV on. Even had a few local old guys drinking cervezas on Sat night. It is near a liquor store and another fruit/food stand across the street. If you have a family, it might look sketch. Food and drinks are def cheap. The fresh blended fruit drinks are super amazing though. Each dish is around 3500-5000 colones. Meal type: Other Price per person: ₡1–5,000 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I ordered the Typical Casado with grilled fish, and wow, it was absolutely delicious! The meal came with rice, beans, sweet plantains, and a fresh salad topped with a tasty dressing. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and cooked perfectly. Honestly, this was one of the best meals I’ve had since coming to Costa Rica. The portion was generous, the ingredients tasted authentic, and the fish was outstanding. If you’re looking for a great local spot with excellent food, I highly recommend stopping here. My favorite place to come every time I visit Jacó!! You are truly missing out if you don’t stop by. My favorite dish is the casado with grilled fish. Unbelievably fresh. I especially love if it comes with picadillo de chayote. The patacones are also to die for. I dream about Jacó Sabor when I’m not here.
