I've been going to Jalapeños for lunch every day the past few weeks, and today I accidentally ordered the wrong items (ordered a number 23 and 26, when I meant to order a 3 and 27, dyslexia kicked in apparently). When the Hispanic lady with beautiful blue eyes (didn't get her name) brought me my food, I realized I messed up. She was quick to solve the problem and put in my desired order. She even offered to give me the food for free, but I insisted on paying because it was my mistake. When I went to pay, she gave me a huge discount and bagged up the items I ordered by accident for me to take. Excellent customer service. Everything I've tried from here is delicious and their portion sizes are very generous. This place never disappoints! Highly recommended for quality service and food. My partner and I have eaten here several times. Although the food itself is well made and good, there are some issues. First has to do with the service. Every time we've come here the cashier, regardless of who it is, seems annoyed that we are ordering and is not very inviting. Often we have to repeat our orders because they get it wrong. More importantly, the order itself is off. Two examples on our most recent order would be the side of salsa and carne asada fries. The fries were well made but we received half an order. The side of salsa was almost forgotten by the cashier. When we did get it, it tasted like Clamato juice and was mostly watery with some cilantro and white onions. Despite the food tasting good, I would not recommend going to this place and we will not be going back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
