I keep my expectations tempered for coffee places, especially in the morning AND downtown, but this place nearly broke me on 2 occasions close to each other. It was recomended by my coworkers who said it was better than another coffee place in the building we're at "" The first time I go with them, its overrun with the FFA Crowd, okay fair enough, but even for having a crowd, it took 35 minutes from the time I ordered the Latte to actually receive it. So long that I just left and went back to work, and my coworkers brought it when they got their orders. The 2nd time was a few days later, there were 5 of us, 3 of our group ordered via the app ahead of time. We get there and this time there are 3 employees and an average crowd for the morning. Same thing, I ordered a Mocha and a Grilled Ham and Cheese sandwich. We wait in the corner for well over 20 minutes. Meanwhile we are watching as food that is being made is bagged and sat on top of their oven and were just left there. At the same time, people who arrived after we did are receiving their drinks before those in our group including the ones who put their orders in ahead of time. One of our drinks was just wrong and had to be remade (was not the first time) and we were told that the employee working the counter had input the order incorrectly. Couple that with the young man who was moving at a snails pace while being lapped by the 3rd employee (who was the MVP of service and making the drinks, including remaking the ones he did not get right) and I'd had enough. For what its worth, the coffee and food both times was good, the grilled ham and cheese was delicious but the service at this location (aside from the 1 employee) leaves much to be desired.
