To order nicely cooked beef, bacon and sandwiches is a really nice idea. Good coffee, tea or fresh juices will make your meal tastier and you'll certainly come back. Most visitors point out that the staff is courteous. Service at this restaurant is something one can call enjoyable. Prices are affordable for the quality you get. But many Zomato users didn't give Joe Muggs a high score.

Had a voucher, made a booking which was confirmed. Arrived to the cafe and it was closed. No one was picking up the phone. Horrible experience. Dont recommend this place at all!!!

Crappy experience. I bought a groupon voucher and booked in on a Sunday and they called to say they won't be opened due to getting approved renovations so I called them after that Sunday and made a booking for the Sunday next, assuring me they will be open. I went there from Rockingham at 8:30am just to find they are closed and there is no tables or chairs inside with their sign saying "OPEN EVERYDAY 7am to 3pm" I tried calling but no one picks up. If they weren't going to be open, then don't say they will be and definitely don't have Groupon deals going which was expiring 22nd Dec (so during their renovations)

I bought two $16 coupons for Joe Muggs cafe in Inglewood, Perth. I had difficulty booking because they don't answer the mobile number listed on the scoopon. I finally got through and booked on Friday for a Saturday booking at 11.30am. My friend who has a baby needed to change the time. I tried to change the booking time but the mobile went unanswered. We decided to go ahead to the cafe anyway and arrived just after 10am. The lady allowed us to sit down (the cafe was empty bar 1 couple) but whinged about us not having a booking for that time. I handed over our 2 scoopons. The owner/manager scanned them and immediately got angry and showed us that the scoopons were marked as 'already redeemed'. She straight away treated me like a criminal. She snatched the scoopons off me and kept lecturing me and waving the scanner with 'already redeemed' pop up in my face. She was loud, confrontational and embarrassed me in front of my friends and the other people in the cafe. It was humiliating to pay good money for my scoopons and then be treated like someone who was trying to rip off the cafe. I had never been to the cafe and had not used the scoopons previously. My scoopon account is protected with a secure password. My friends and I had no idea what to do. My friends ordered coffee (not included in the scoopon) and I went outside to call scoopon to try and sort it out. The lady on the phone from scoopon was quite helpful and told me that my scoopons had been marked as redeemed just after 10am...which is exactly when we arrived at the cafe and had our scoopons scanned. I went back inside and explained this to the owner and she remained adamant that she had not double scanned them and that they were already used. She was shrill and aggressive. I passed my phone to one of the cafe workers and he took it and spoke to the scoopon representative for at least 5 minutes (running up my phone bill). After a lot of debate the cafe agreed to let us have breakfast because scoopon agreed to pay them for it. We were grudgingly given menus (an hour after we first arrived) and were told a list of what was available to us. The multiple exclusions were not listed on the fine print of the deal. We then waited about 30 mins for our meal even though there were no other patrons in the cafe. The owner and cafe worker argued loudly from the kitchen while we waited. Every now and then the owner would come out to lecture us about why she was suspicious of us and how she was not at fault. Every interaction with the owner/manager was accusatory and made us feel uncomfortable and threatened. The food was average at best. This was a truly horrible dining experience. The worst I have ever had.
