All the guests adore the menu that offers gorgeous Spanish cuisine at this restaurant. Serving perfectly cooked seafood paella, oxtail and shrimp dumplings is the feature of Josefina. La Josefina is, without a doubt, the best Spanish restaurant in Baltimore. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels special. The flamenco music, the warm hospitality, and the attention to detail create an experience that keeps me coming back. The food is exceptional. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared with high-quality ingredients and authentic Spanish flavors. The oxtail dumplings (rabo de toro dumplings) practically melt in your mouth, and the Spanish lamb rice is perfectly balanced and full of flavor. Even the desserts are outstanding and worth saving room for. What truly sets La Josefina apart is the service. Chef David genuinely cares about his guests and always makes sure everyone feels welcomed and well taken care of. That level of care is reflected in every aspect of the restaurant. One surprise for me was the burger it is honestly one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. It may not be the first thing you expect to order at a Spanish restaurant, but it is absolutely incredible. Thank you to Chef David and the entire team for bringing such high quality Spanish cuisine and hospitality to Baltimore. La Josefina is a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. Josefina in Baltimore was honestly a really beautiful dining experience overall. I went for a friend’s birthday and the ambiance, service, and quality of the food were excellent. The restaurant itself is gorgeous, very stylish with an open kitchen, multiple levels, and a true upscale Spanish dining atmosphere. Our server was attentive, warm, and professional from start to finish. The hospitality really stood out. The food itself was delicious and clearly high quality. The paella was the highlight for me and ended up feeling like the best value on the menu. It came in a full pan and included an entire roasted chicken placed right into the paella. We were genuinely surprised when it came out because it was not just a portion of chicken, it was literally a whole cooked chicken served in the pan. It felt abundant, flavorful, and memorable in a way that a lot of upscale restaurants are not anymore. My only critique is that some of the tapas felt overpriced relative to the portion sizes. The pan con tomate especially stood out. It was delicious, but it was essentially two small slices of bread for a fairly high price. The shrimp tapas were flavorful as well, but came with very little bread compared to the amount of sauce, so we ended up ordering an additional bread bowl just to balance the dishes out. Same situation with the churro dessert. Very tasty, but mostly sauce with only one churro. It actually reminded me a bit of La Cuchara before it closed. Josefina and La Cuchara both have that elevated Spanish inspired atmosphere and beautifully executed food, but La Cuchara generally gave more bang for your buck in terms of portion sizes and balance. Josefina feels a little more luxury leaning and presentation focused, whereas La Cuchara felt slightly more generous and rustic. Overall though, I would absolutely recommend Josefina if you are looking for a beautiful atmosphere, elevated Spanish food, excellent service, and a more upscale dining experience. Just go in expecting smaller tapas portions and a higher end price point. The quality is definitely there. I just wished some of the smaller dishes felt a bit more abundant for the cost. We spent $175 total for 2 people but did order a lot of tapas, the paella to share, and desert. Price per person: $90–100 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Josefina has officially taken the crown as the best Spanish restaurant in Baltimore. Everything about the dining experience here is exceptional. We started with the seafood paella, and it was spectacular—easily the best paella I’ve ever had. Rich in flavor, packed with fresh seafood, and beautifully arranged. But the absolute star of the night was the dessert. The presentation is pure art. It is, without a doubt, the best churro I have ever tried—perfectly crispy on the outside, light on the inside, and paired beautifully with chocolate and ice cream. If you are looking for an unforgettable meal with stunning presentation and top-tier flavors, Josefina is a must-visit! Price per person: $70–80 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
