Had a dine-in lunch at KFC Rotorua. The food itself was delicious and the atmosphere was pleasant, earning 4 stars each. However, the service was a bit average this time (3 stars). The restaurant had a moderate noise level but was fine for a quick bite. Good value at $10–$20 per person. Very busy store that didn't seem to have enough staff on. People were getting sick of the long wait after ordering and after complaining were told there was probably another 20 minutes to wait. They were offered a refund. There were probably at least 4 people who took their refund and walked out. Surely this can't be good for business!!! The lady on the front counter was very professional and took all the complaints in her stride and never seemed to get rattled. The drive thru was packed. Put more staff on to keep up with the demand or KFC may find their customers going elsewhere for quicker service.
