After enjoying Borgo, go to this restaurant that is not far away. Italian and Mediterranean dishes are on the menu at Krugh. Come to this place for a break and order good tuna, cacio e pepe and rigatoni. The truth is that you will really enjoy tasty tiramisu, che and semifreddo. When visiting this spot, it's a must to try delicious limoncello, cordial or house wine. Visitors don't highly appreciate coffee at this restaurant.

The warm atmosphere of Krugh makes guests feel relaxed and have a nice time. Most people have noticed that the staff is hospitable at this place. People say that the service is fast here. Attractive prices are to be expected at this place. The homey decor is what you will see here. But a number of clients who use Google didn't grant this spot a high rating.

In the end we found the best restaurant in 3 days in Rome. Real Roman food! Authentic flavor, the pizza has an incredible texture and the carbonara pasta is a delicious delicacy! We repeat for sure, a 10 out of 10. Service: Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

After a long day walking around the streets of Rome, we decided to stop at the first restaurant we encountered before heading to The Vatican's St. Peter's Basilica. "Ristorante Krugh a Borgo" can be found at the foot of the long street leading up to the Basilica plaza, it has an inviting and spacious interior and more importantly, a very clean restroom which we were also desperately looking for. After browsing the menu and getting a few suggestions from our awesome server, we went with a plate of their house Carbonara and Napoli Pizza (mushroom, anchovies, egg, ham, salame and cheese) with a glass of wine. Food was great of course, pizza was exceptionally well-made and the carbonara ruined all the carbobnaras I've tried in the USA! But what stood out the most for us was just how warm and friendly the staff is, especially our server who even informed us that his wife is (also) Filipina! We still had a large portion of our lunch left over (their serving is that generous) and once again our friendly server made sure to pack our "takeaways" securely for our continued trek and hop-on rides around the city. That short stop at Krugh which afforded us to freshen up and get our energy back from their delicious meal was why our day trip to Rome is more memorable!
