La Tavernella is not only a family-run business, but also a place where you truly feel at home! It is my favorite restaurant in Rome, and the owner Luisa is always incredibly kind to me, as well as making delicious homemade desserts every day. La Tavernella should be a true mecca for anyone visiting Rome: they serve all the traditional Roman dishes, and every single one is delicious. And for those who can’t decide what to order, there’s a special dish featuring three of Rome’s most traditional pasta dishes: the “Trittico.” I order it every time, and I never get tired of it! Totally worth it - we visited the restaurant this evening - a group of 4 adults with a child and there was an easy food choice for everyone even though there were people with dietary recommendations in our group ( no gluten for example which could be an issue at some places in Italy). The food was amazing! There is a variety of classic Italian dishes, pasta and pizza and even some burgers. We have spent 120 euro for group of 5 ppl people ordering main dish and drinks for everyone. The restaurant is family owned, it was sparkling clean and the owners family cooks and serves for you. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €20–30
