The place was really chill. So, we went here for one drink. The bartenders seemed cool and everything was fine. However, when I got home I got a surprise extra $18 charge on my CC. So, the moral of this story is to always check your CC charge regardless. The good thing is I took a photo of the mobile POS. I had a disappointing experience at KaBAR in Kaserne, Basel. The food and tapas were tasteless and seemed to be made from poor quality ingredients. Additionally, the service was unbearably slow and inattentive. However, the worst part of my experience was rude treatment towards my wife and baby. Overall, I found the venue to be unpleasant, with only an acceptable selection of beer and a great location. I believe that businesses should treat all customers with respect, especially families with young children. I hope that KaBAR takes customer feedback seriously and addresses these issues in a respectful manner. While the experience was disappointing, I am optimistic that KaBAR can make necessary improvements and provide a better experience for their customers.
