simply the best new restaurant in town! saw the sign a couple of weeks ago when we were walking around. i got so excited and told my husband we must come here. hubby was a bit skeptical as he is not super versed in central asian cuisine. i told him "trust me!" we came tonight! and left with two happy full stomachs and smiles on our face. we had korma beef, spinach, eggplant and rice with chicken. all were outstanding. meats were so soft and tender they practically melt in your mouth. the food is less spicy than typical indian cooking, but tastier with more dimensions, depth, and nuisances in its flavoring profile. it also felt less heavy on the stomach. i know it is different, but it did remind me of the best pakistani and Nepalese food i have had in the past. and the price is so reasonable and better than all the indian, middle eastern restaurants in this town. the young man who served us was also very kind. we are so happy that this new place is in our neighborhood. we'll be back! We ordered Mantu, Afgani Rosh, and Naan bread. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. They also brought us a tea. The restaurant is clean. The prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend eating here. One of the best Afghan meals I’ve had. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: There was an allergy menu available
