The food at Kayal is amazing, so many vegan/gluten free options. We love the Dosa’s! We go every few months and since the first lockdown we often order takeaway from here and it’s always delicious! The gentleman that delivers the food is always very friendly and polite :) The reason I only give 4 stars is because when eating in the table service is lacking in friendliness, the two young chaps that often serve us always give the impression that they would rather not be there. They are not very helpful when making choices of what to choose from the menu. I also recently went to pick up a takeaway from the restaurant and again no welcoming smile or warmth. No Hi, thank you or goodbye! Very disappointing really. Food 10/10 - Staff in restaurant 3/10 Delivery man 10/10

Great food, very good value. Let down by a restaurant that seems like it hasn’t been touched since the 90s. Various light bulbs aren’t working, the sticky leather chairs you’d find in a waiting room for a car garage and menus that haven’t been re-printed for years. It would seemingly take very little effort to restore this to a comfortable, premium restaurant that does the food justice. For now, you’re starting out the window a competitor that has done exactly that. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40
