Seems to be a long term closure, which is sad. It’s a long way to go albeit a very scenic drive. However, there are some unsealed roads getting in and out. The hotel is getting a major refurb.

The Black Ant new owners did an amazing job getting a wonderful menu together after taking over on Thursday. Meal and service were excellent. Great place to enjoy a peaceful breakfast or lunch.

Booking issue regarding requirements for seating. Drink order given 3 times before being filled. Overcooked rib fillet! despite specific request for closer to rare. Extremely underwhelmed. Happy to travel further to feel more valued. Disappointed. Currently hitting 1 decent meal/service out of 3 visits. Not encouraging to support local.
