A dog friendly very staff friendly pub. Food is excellent and local beer are great. Highly recommend. We had a large double a very comfy bed.

Great stay at The Kings Head Inn. We were due to stay in the pub, but Lucy moved us to an outside cottage room so we'd be cooler. It was lovely. Very spacious, comfortable & a lovely little seating area outside. The pub is lovely & despite it being old, it has modern decor which works perfectly with the old surroundings. Tastefully done & thought through. All the staff were great & the dinner we had, plus the included breakfast were high quality & very tasty. A lovely garden was great in the hot weather too. Just very comfortable & chilled. It's a very eady walk down to Rye, about 10-15 minutes & you're in the centre, it's a slight hill going back, but not too bad, just be aware. Rye is beautiful with fab shops & great eateries. Mermaid street is a must. I'd definitely recommend The Kings Head Inn & will stay there again.
